Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to all consumer orders placed on www.mgkindia.com for Faljal and Magister products by MGK Food & Naturals Pvt. Ltd. Since our products are consumable food items, returns are governed by food-safety considerations and are accepted only in the specific cases described below. For bulk / B2B (MGK Core) orders, refund and cancellation terms are governed by the commercial agreement finalised at the time of quotation.
1. Order Cancellation by Customer
- You may cancel your order at any time before it is dispatched by calling +91 74991 57214 or emailing info@mgkindia.com with your Order ID.
- For prepaid orders cancelled before dispatch, a 100% refund will be initiated to your original payment method.
- Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. You may refer to the return/replacement conditions below if applicable.
2. Order Cancellation by MGK
We may cancel an order in cases of product unavailability, pricing or listing errors, suspected fraudulent transactions, or non-serviceable delivery locations. In all such cases, the full amount paid will be refunded to your original payment method within the timelines mentioned in Section 6.
3. Eligible Cases for Refund / Replacement
A refund or replacement request will be accepted only in the following cases:
- Product received in damaged, leaking, or tampered condition.
- Wrong product or wrong variant/flavour delivered.
- Product received past its expiry date, or with a manufacturing defect.
- Item missing from the order.
4. Non-Returnable Cases
Being food products, the following are not eligible for return or refund:
- Products that have been opened, used, or partially consumed (except where the product itself was defective or expired on delivery).
- Dislike of taste, flavour, or texture — food preferences are personal and do not constitute a defect.
- Damage caused after delivery due to improper storage or handling.
- Requests raised beyond the 48-hour reporting window.
- Products purchased from third-party marketplaces or offline retailers — please contact the respective seller.
5. How to Raise a Request
- Email info@mgkindia.com (or WhatsApp +91 74991 57214) within 48 hours of delivery.
- Mention your Order ID, the issue, and attach clear photos or an unboxing video.
- Our team will review and respond within 2 business days with the resolution — replacement, refund, or additional clarification if needed.
- If a return pickup is required, we will arrange it through our courier partner. Please keep the product in its original packaging until pickup.
6. Refund Processing & Timelines
Once a refund is approved, it is initiated within 2 business days and processed through Razorpay to your original payment method. Time taken for the amount to reflect in your account:

Actual credit time may vary slightly depending on your bank. Refunds are always issued to the original payment source; we do not process refunds to a different account.
7. Replacements
Where you opt for a replacement instead of a refund, the replacement product is dispatched within 2–4 business days of approval (subject to stock availability), at no additional shipping cost to you. If the product is out of stock, a full refund will be issued instead.
8. Undelivered / Returned-to-Origin Shipments
If a shipment is returned to us undelivered — due to an incorrect address, repeated failed delivery attempts, or refusal to accept — the refund for prepaid orders will be processed as per our Shipping Policy, after deduction of applicable shipping charges.
9. Late or Missing Refunds
If the expected timeline has passed and you have not received your refund, first check your bank/card statement (refunds sometimes post without notification), then contact your bank or card issuer, as processing times vary. If it still hasn't arrived, write to us at info@mgkindia.com with your Order ID and we will share the refund reference number (ARN) for tracking.
